The Catholic Ghana, Diocese of Goaso On Saturday 30th of November,2024 celebrated its 2024 priestly ordination presided over by Most Rev. Peter Kwaku Atuahene and concelebrated by a number of priests.
The event, held at St. Anthony of Padua Cathedral, Goaso, saw the ordination of six (6) young men, marking a significant milestone in their spiritual journey. They included Rev. Frs. Bernard Sarpong, Eric Maali, Ransford Marfo, Frank Owusu Ahiamajor, Samuel Pious Agana Awenongya and Lawrence Adu-Gyamfi.

Faithful from across the diocese gathered for the solemn occasion, which included a vibrant Eucharistic celebration. Also present were a number of religious working within and outside of the diocese.
Bishop Atuahene delivered a powerful homily emphasizing the responsibilities of priesthood and the need for dedication to service, faith, and community.
In their appreciation speech, Rev. Fr Lawrence Adu-Gyamfi on behalf of his brothers thanked the bishop and the entire diocese for their support throughout their formation. They promised to be good Christian and good co-worker in the Lord’s vineyard.
