Madam Vivian Opoku Kyeremeh Crowned Ghana Health Service Overall Outstanding Staff

Madam Vivian Opoku Kyeremeh, a Principal Midwifery Officer affectionately known as “Eduma Wura,” has been named the Overall Outstanding Staff of the Ghana Health Service during a grand Excellence Awards Night held in Accra.

This prestigious recognition crowns a remarkable year of achievements for Madam Kyeremeh, who also earned three other national honors in the health sector:

  • Regional Winner (International Day of the Midwife 2024) – Celebrated in Koforidua in May.
  • Deprived Area Category (Bono Region) – Awarded in Takoradi in November.
  • Overall Best CHPS Compound Concept, 2024 – Recognizing her innovative contributions to healthcare.

With an illustrious 34-year career in public health, Madam Kyeremeh has dedicated her life to serving underserved communities, including Sefwi Essem in the Western Region and currently Dumasua in the Bono Region. Her compassion and unwavering commitment have left a lasting impact on the lives she has touched.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Madam Kyeremeh is a devoted Sunday School teacher at The Apostolic Church-Ghana, Dumasua Local Assembly. “It is my delight to raise children with God’s Word and shape their lives for society,” she shared. She attributes her success to her faith, expressing gratitude to God, as well as to the spiritual and secular leaders she has served under.

The leadership of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, including the Council of Apostles and Prophets, joins the entire Apostolic fraternity in celebrating Madam Kyeremeh’s achievements. They extend heartfelt congratulations and prayers for continued success as she inspires others through her service to both God and humanity.
