“A Divine Encounter: Apostle Eric Nyamekye Illuminates the Virgin Birth at ICGC Christmas Convention”

The Chairman of THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, graced the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) – Acts Temple in Kwabenya, Accra, with his presence on sunday 22nd December 2024 during their 2024 Christmas Convention.

Delivering an inspiring message on the theme “The Man Jesus – The Virgin Birth”, Apostle Nyamekye delved into the immeasurable significance of Jesus Christ to the Christian faith. Quoting Isaiah 7:14, he emphasized the profound mystery and extraordinary nature of the virgin birth—a singular event in human history that stands as a testament to God’s divine intervention.

Apostle Nyamekye further expounded on 1 Timothy 3:16, highlighting the profound mystery of godliness: God manifesting in human form to redeem humanity. “The birth of Jesus is unlike any other,” he stated, underscoring its pivotal role in the salvation narrative and its enduring relevance to the Christian story.

The host pastor, Reverend MacDonald Essandoh, expressed heartfelt gratitude for Apostle Nyamekye’s visit and impactful message, noting it as a spiritual highlight of the convention.

The gathering was graced by several dignitaries from the Church of Pentecost, including Mrs. Mary Nyamekye (wife of the Chairman), Apostle William Boakye Agyarko (Haatso Area Head) and his wife, as well as Pastor William Amponsah Asiamah (Kwabenya Old Town District Pastor).
