ICGC Declares 2025 As The Year Of JESUS.

Ps. Mensah Otabil

The International Central Gospel Church has declared 2025 as the year of ‘Jesus’ .

Detailing the congregants on the theme the founder and General Overseer Pastor Mensah Otabil highlighted the need for Christians to walk in the ways of Jesus , follow him, and fall on him.

Continuing on last Sunday’s sermon “Living for God , Doers of the word” he said that it is time children of God live the life of Jesus and not just using the name.

According to him, it is important for Christian’s to renew their mind , offer their bodies for Christ and allow the written word of God to transform their lives.

Speaking from James 1:22:25, he stressed that it is important for Christians to not just be hearers only of the word because such people deceives themselves.

“Such people sees themselves in the mirror of God , they see their sinfulness and areas they have fallen off, but they quickly go away from the truth without focus” he added.

He said that, turning away simply means accepting defeat, because your subconscious mind is portraying negativity to you but not the positive image Jesus showed you in the mirror.

According to Pastor Otabil we must always endeavor to read and go beyond it by putting into practice what we read or hear , thereby ensuring that we do the word.

“ Doers stay connected to the word , they continue in it , they don not forget but meditate on the word repetitively “ he opined.

The servant of God stressed that doers keep praying about what they hear and ensure that they do not allow the world to chock what they have downloaded into their spirit man.

According to him, doers always allow the word to liberate them , thereby obeying God does not minimize you but makes you better irrespective of the situation at hand.

Bringing his message to an end Pastor Otabil advised all children of God to live a Christlike life not the opposite way , because Christlike person is chosen by God and does the Will of the father and not his own will.
