AYPA-Anglican Diocese of Accra Installs New Diocesan Executives

The Anglican Young People’s Association (AYPA) Accra Diocesan Council has installed its newly elected executives during a service at the St. Augustine Anglican Church, Nungua North. 

The installation follows an elections held during the 19th Biennial Delegates Conference of the council.

The service was celebrated by the Very Rev’d Samuel Lanquaye Lamptey, Dean of the Cathedral Church, who offered prayers and blessings for the incoming leadership.  

The newly installed Accra Diocesan Council executives are led by President Bro. Prince Enoch N. Bortey, with Sis. Tracey Sabina Nyarko as Vice President. Other key officers include Sis. Hellen Larkai (Secretary), Sis. Belinda Delali Borbi (Assistant Secretary), Bro. Solomon Adamah (Treasurer), Bro. Derrick Afutu Okoe Neequaye (Organizer), and Bro. Leslie Apo (Assistant Organizer). 

The team also includes Sis. Elizabeth Addy (Sisters’ Commissioner), Bro. Michael Phelps Tay (Communications Director), Bro. Desmond Darko (Prayer and Evangelism Secretary), and Executive Members Sis. Naa Momo Afotey, Bro. Ernest Simon Ashie, and Sis. Roberta Addo. Sis. Sandra Williams Lamptey, the Immediate Past President, completes the list of leaders.  

The service also saw the installation of Deanery and Archdeaconry presidents, including Sis. Benedicta Bessie Allotey (CDC President), Bro. Kojo Thompson (AEA President), Bro. Benjamin K. Effah-Oware (ANEA President), Bro. Emmanuel Monnie Jnr. (ANA President), Bro. Nii Ayi Larmie (ANWA President), and Bro. Emmanuel Dogbey (AWA President). 

The Executives will ensure that the AYPA’s mission and objectives are effectively carried out across the diocese.  

Additionally, ex-officio members who will offer strategic guidance include Bro. Samuel Obeng (NEC President), Bro. Solomon Sarpei (NEC Secretary), Bro. Conrad Nii Odoi Sowah (NEC Treasurer), Bro. Alfred Anettey Abbey (NEC Sub-Senior Organizer), Sis. Nadech Ackun Mensah (NEC Sisters’ Commissioner), Bro. Ellis Okai (NEC Auditor), and NEC Executive Members Bro. Nicholas Asamoah, Bro. Edmund Charway, and Bro. Alexander Mensah.
