Relevance of faith in a Christian’s life – Rev. Dr. David Antwi @ Impact 2024

KHARIS CHURCH LEADER CHARGES FAITH OF ATTENDEES AT IMPACT 2024

Rev. Dr. David Antwi, head pastor and founding visionary of the Kharis Church, London, has emphasized the need for Christians to be resolute in their faith regardless of the challenges they face.

According to him, the Christian can only receive his testimony by faith. Recounting the story of Jesus’ encounter of the woman with the issue of blood, he noted that although the power of Jesus was invoked to deliver a miracle in the woman’s life, her faith made her whole.

With this, Dr Antwi stated that a Christian’s God “is a God who is potent… A God who says call upon me and I will answer you”.

Speaking at this year’s Impact 2024, spearheaded by Archbishop Nicholas Duncan William, leader of Action Chapel International, he acknowledged the goodness of God and the presence of the Archbishop for consistently hosting such great initiative and convergence of God’s people.

Highlighting the relevance of faith in a Christian’s life, he cited various scriptures to buttress the requirement of faith in the lives of Christians with key verses from John 11: 1- 15 and Galatians 4:4.

Dr Antwi charged the atmosphere and the spirit of congregants with the benefits of God’s mercies and goodness in the life of a believer. He opined that God cannot turn down the prayer of mercy from His people.

Among others, the Kharis Church leader elaborated the “fullness” of time in the workings of faith. He indicated the vast difference between the timing of man and God, noting that “it does not take time, it takes God” for a miracle to take place in every situation.

Moreover, Dr Antwi distinguished the meaning of timely intervention and godly intervention. He revealed that God steps in a situation on His own schedule. As such, a Christian’s prayer does not force God to answer prayers which are contrary to his plans.

Touching on the essence of cultivating a system of belief for a believer, he conscientized attendees to lean on the fact that there is nothing too hard for God, further admonishing them to be dogged in their faith and manifest their belief in God.

Crowning his sermon, he led the attendees through a series of worship, intercession and declarations over every area of their lives to become a fruitful ground for God’s blessings to thrive.

The ongoing session of IMPACT 2024 began on November 24 and scheduled to end on December 1. The conference is hosted by Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams and represented by a constellation of Kingdom stars such as Apostle Joshua Selman, Rev. Dr. Eastwood Anaba, Rev. Dr. David Antwi, Apostle Isis Igenegba and Bishop Dr. Bernard Ogyiri Asare.
